University of Maryland Medical System to use $3M Grant to Expand Mobile Covid-19 Vaccination Efforts

As part of efforts to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations to vulnerable residents in underserved areas, the University of Maryland Medical System has received a $3M state grant through the Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC). The funding will be used to expand a mobile vaccination program and send vaccination teams into communities served by the health system’s hospitals. The System plans to provide approximately 53k additional vaccinations in 34 target ZIP codes across the Greater Baltimore region and state. Via Baltimore Business Journal.
