UMBC’s Newest Biotech Grads Launch Careers that Will Make a Difference

Supporting talent development for the Region’s thriving life science industry, the first graduates of University of Maryland Baltimore County’s Translational Life Science Technology (TLST) degree are ready to launch their careers. The TLST program of study helps students gain a deep knowledge of all aspects of the biotechnology industry through internships and course work, while developing lasting relationships with classmates and professors. In-person internships have included traditional wet labs experience at the University of Maryland and the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
