Towson Edtech Offers its Tools for Free to Help Teachers with Online Learning

Towson University Incubator-based startup InferCabulary by CommApptitude has received $250k in new venture funding from the University System of Maryland (USM) Maryland Momentum Fund to expand their team and accelerate growth. The education technology company seeks to help solve illiteracy, and is offering teachers two months of free access to its online vocabulary learning tools to prepare for remote learning, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. The free learning platform has received 27,000 new users. "We wanted to let people know we’re here for them and we have an amazing tool that can be helpful during this situation," said Beth Lawrence, Co-Founder.
