#1 Science & Tech Workforce
The Milken Institute's 2020 State Technology and Science Index ranked Maryland's Science & Tech Workforce 1st for the third cycle in a row. Maryland beat out national heavyweights Massachusetts (3rd) and California (5th), and sailed past local challengers Virginia (6th), Delaware (15th), and Pennsylvania (17th).
