State Announces Third Round of Strategic Investments in Career Pathways
Further strengthening the talent pipeline in the Region, Maryland Department of Labor awarded $500K in federal funding to Howard Community College and Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation (AAWDC) to support the development of career pathways that offer opportunities for adult learners. “Three funding rounds totaling $1.5 million in grants have been awarded to local boards and organizations in Maryland to connect adult learners with life-changing career training and job opportunities,” said Maryland Department of Labor Secretary Tiffany P.Robinson.
