Penguin Random House Expands with 150 New Jobs in Maryland
Penguin Random House, one of the largest general-interest paperback publishers in the world, is expanding its Carroll County operations once again with 150 new jobs, bringing total employment in the state to 870. This follows the company’s recent addition of a second distribution center after the success of its largest nationwide site in Westminster. “We have been enormously pleased with our Westminster Distribution and Fulfillment center. So, when we decided to expand into a fourth facility to support our continued nationwide focus on growth and innovation, it was a natural decision to select a second Maryland location,” said Annette Danek, Executive VP of Supply Chain.
