Northrop Grumman Breaks Ground on 60,000 sf Manufacturing Center in Cecil County
Northrop Grumman Corporation is expanding to Cecil County! The new 60,000 sf Hypersonics Center of Excellence facility will enable Northrop Grumman to produce high-speed missiles more quickly and at a lower cost. Northrop Grumman is a defense giant and one of the largest employers in Maryland. The new center is expected to add 200 to 250 jobs. "As we look to continue diversifying our economy in Cecil County, Northrop Grumman’s partnership goes a long way in highlighting the many technology and science-focused companies that call Cecil County home," said Steve Overbay Director of Economic Development for Cecil County and EAGB advisory committee member.
