M&T Bank and The Aspen Institute Want to Give $7K to Baltimore’s Neighborhood Connectors
M&T Bank and Aspen Weave: The Social Fabric Project have launched “The Weaver Awards,” a $70K initiative funded by M&T Bank that aims to celebrate and support grassroots leaders building connections between neighbors in Baltimore City neighborhoods. “We strive to not only understand the issues critical to Baltimore’s success but also support the growth and sustainability of the grassroots community efforts that are so important to making Baltimore a better city,” said M&T Bank Greater Baltimore/Chesapeake President and EAGB Board member Augie Chiasera. Ten people or groups will be awarded $7K for projects that create connection and relationships in Baltimore City. Applications will close on July 2. Via Technical.ly Baltimore.
