Mercy Medical Center Plans $12.5M Addition to Expand Capacity for Coronavirus Patients

Responding to the urgent need for patient care, Mercy Medical Center has received $12.5M in emergency funding from the Maryland Health Care Commission. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is partnering on the expansion project with Mercy to allow construction to move forward immediately. The Baltimore City hospital plans to add 32 new patient beds to their main inpatient facility, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
