MedStar Health Wins $1.7M CDC Contract to Study Covid-19 Spread
Howard County-headquartered MedStar Health has received a two-year, $1.7M contract from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to study the spread of the coronavirus and vaccine adoption in local communities. MedStar's researchers will use the information to learn more about COVID-19, disease hot spots, the success of prevention strategies and more. MedStar plans to recruit at least 60K participants and will share relevant data with their clinical care teams and local public health officials. Via Baltimore Business Journal.
