The City of Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott announces Ted Carter to become Deputy Mayor for Community and Economic Development. Carter will manage a portfolio including housing, planning, workforce, and community development initiatives. Carter has development, leadership, and market experience in NYC and Washington D.C., previously serving as Chief Economic Development and Business Officer for Cuyahoga County (Ohio), Executive Director of the Office of Economic Development in Jacksonville (Florida), CEO of the National Capital Revitalization Corporation, and Executive Managing Director for CBRE.
