Manufacturing Curio Wellness Opens $7M Cannabis Processing Facility in Baltimore County
One of Maryland’s biggest medical cannabis companies, Curio Wellness, continues to grow with a new, $7M processing facility in Baltimore County employing 85 people. The 34,000 sf facility will feature new machinery for research, development and automation – including a machine that will cut the time needed to make particular products from five days to five hours, explains Wendy Bronfein, chief brand officer and director of public policy, in a statement. Bronfein goes on to say that Curio needed the additions to keep pace with the state’s growing medical cannabis industry.
