Junior Achievement Receives $80K from the MD Department of Education to Launch Summer Training Program

Junior Achievement of Central Maryland has received $80K in funding from the Maryland State Department of Education to launch a summer training program. The “JA Entrepreneurship Summer Experience” three-week program will focus on “Design Thinking” as an innovative process for problem solving, entrepreneurial principles, strategies & skills, and business planning foundations. According to The Daily Record, the program is designed to retain and motivate middle and highschool students in special populations to complete their career and technical education. The virtual and in-person program will run July 12-30.
