Johns Hopkins Launches New Institute for Sustainable Energy Tech
Consistently ranking as the top attractor of research dollars in the nation, The Johns Hopkins University has launched a new institute for sustainable energy technologies. Backed by $20M in funding, the “Ralph S. O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute” will serve as the center for interdisciplinary research and education to support clean, renewable, and sustainable energy. Hopkins plans to invest $75 million over 10 years into energy-related activities and has focused the Institute on renewable energy, fuel technologies and affordable and equitable implementation.
