JMI Equity Raises $1.7B for Software Start-Up Fund

Greater Baltimore companies benefit from a number of large-scale investors in their own backyard. One of those, JMI Equity, a Baltimore & San Diego-based firm that invests in software startups, just closed its latest fundraising round at $1.7 billion.
