Hungry Harvest Closes $14M Round Amid Covid-Induced Business Boom
Hungry Harvest closed with 14M in its Series A funding round. The farm to doorstep produce delivery company rescues fruits, vegetables and other grocery items that would otherwise be thrown out due to surplus or retail cosmetic standards, and delivers them directly to subscribers’ homes. The company plans to hire up to 80 additional employees, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. “We see this as a huge opportunity to advance our mission with some of the brightest minds in the business and we can’t wait to put our ideas into action,” said CEO Evan Lutz.
