Howard County Economic Development Authority Celebrates Maryland Economic Development Week
Economic Development Week Oct. 25-29: For day one of Economic Development week Howard County Economic Development Authority will focus on “Attraction & Expansion.” Throughout the day, HCEDA will explore several of their recent projects and take a look at how many attraction, retention, and expansion opportunities HCEDA assists with each year. HCEDA assisted Cavalier Logistics, a privately held veteran-owned small business that specializes in full-service logistics solutions for commercial and government sectors, in expanding their business. HCEDA found an 87,000 sf warehouse space for their second location which added approximately 20 new jobs and grows our local economy.
