Howard County Cyber Company ReFirm Labs Acquired by Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft Corporation has acquired ReFirm Labs, a cybersecurity firm based in Howard County. The company specializes in developing technology to help people and companies to detect cyber security vulnerabilities in web-connected devices and firmware behind the Internet of Things (IOT). Four-year-old ReFirm Labs, a portfolio member of Howard County’s cyber funder and startup accelerator DataTribe, is previously backed by $3.5M in venture funding and has 12 employees.
