HCC Donates Personal Protective Equipment to Support Fight Against COVID-19
Responding to the growing need for personal protective equipment, Howard Community College's Health Sciences Division is lending a hand to donate nursing, dental, surgical, and medical supplies from their instruction programs to assist with PPE needs in Howard County and the state of Maryland. “Our equipment is lying dormant since our classes have been moved online. While we’re not in session, the best place for this equipment to be is with the people who need it the most,” said Georgene Butler, dean of the Health Sciences Division and professor in the nursing program.
