Global Food to Open first Greater Baltimore Store this Fall
Global Food will open its first grocery store location in Greater Baltimore this fall, bringing the VA-based, mid-size chain into the Region with a 37,000 sf lease at Baltimore County’s Meadows Shopping Center. Located across from the headquarters of the U.S. Social Security Administration, the store will feature traditional grocery items as well as international specialty brands. “The move to Woodlawn was made because of the community's diverse population and its location off Interstate 695. The full- and part-time workers hired for the store will be from the community,” said Michelle Lim, head of Human Resources for Supermax Enterprises Inc.
