Gilman, Park School and Others Donate 3D Printers to Produce Emergency Supplies at LifeBridge

LifeBridge Health is benefiting from loaned 3D printing equipment from several Baltimore schools that will assist with the increasing need for emergency equipment. According to the Baltimore Business Journal, with the additional 3D printers LifeBridge now has in its arsenal, they may be able to produce 500 face shields per week to supply the regional health system. In addition, institutions like Loyola University Maryland are using their 3D printing labs to print medical and protective supplies and LifeBridge has been in touch with others working on emergency production, including Baltimore makerspace Open Works.
