GBMC HealthCare Earns Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
Honored with the nation’s highest presidential honor for performance excellence, GBMC - Greater Baltimore Medical Center is the first healthcare system in Maryland to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award. The Award is named for Malcolm Baldrige, U.S. Secretary of Commerce from 1981 to 1987. Established by Congress in 1987, the Award seeks to enhance the competitiveness and performance of U.S. businesses. GBMC is one of the five organizations nationwide to receive the award this year, and will be showcased at the Quest for Excellence Conference in April 2021. Congratulations!
