FAA Awards Md. Airports Nearly $108M in COVID-19 Grants
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will award $108M through the CARES Act to Maryland airports. Funds will support operations and replace lost revenue due to the impact of COVID-19 on air travel. Greater Baltimore’s location at the center of the East Coast, combined with significant rail and port assets, positions the Region well for the leveraging of its multiple modes of transport to support economic recovery and development.
