Time for EAGB Friday Fun Fact!! Did you know that in 1968, Howard County planners examined more than 20 locations for possible ski slopes in Columbia, according to the Columbia Archives? In fact, there was a recommendation to develop a permanent camping and recreation area with a ski run west of the Hobbit's Glen Golf Club. Today, sans mountain or ski resort, Howard County is nationally recognized as one of the best places to live, work and raise a family!
