Domino Sugar Investing $21M to Build Silos at Baltimore Refinery
The Domino Sugar Baltimore facility is growing! Domino is investing $21M to build new silos at its 30-acre Downtown Inner Harbor refinery. The additional storage capacity to facility will assist workers in efforts to refine and stoaraging store more than 6M pounds of sugar daily. According to the Baltimore Business Journal, the project represents “a huge capital investment in the Baltimore refinery, and it really underscores the company’s commitment to our facility in Baltimore,” said Peter O’Malley, vice president of corporate relations for Domino’s parent company, American Sugar Refining, Inc. The project is expected to begin in January 2021.
