City Garage will Add Lab Space to Attract Life Sciences Companies to Port Covington
City Garage in Baltimore City has announced plans to become a home for life sciences companies! In a partnership with Sagamore Ventures (formerly Plank Industries), the maker hub plans to add 100,000 sf of lab space over the next decade as part of a wider effort to attract growing stage life science companies to Port Covington. With 75k sf of lab space planned for completion in 2022, the new space will help up-and-coming companies formed out of the Region’s research institutions, such as Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, located and growing in the Region.
