CareFirst Commits $2M to Nonprofits Addressing Community Needs Amid Coronavirus
Helping vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield will donate $2M to local nonprofits serving communities struggling with access to medical care and food, according to Baltimore Business Journal - "We are honored to work with community organizations on the front lines to help ensure people’s short- and long-term needs are met during this public health crisis," said EAGB Board member and CareFirst CEO Brian Pieninck.
