CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to Start Volunteer Program for Coronavirus Response and Relief
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield announced a volunteer program available in response to the novel coronavirus. The new program offers licensed CareFirst nurses and behavioral health practitioner employees the opportunity to volunteer their time and expertise as cases increase during the crisis. “In this time of need, it is vital to act with urgency to ensure people living in our communities have access to quality care during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said CareFirst’s Executive Vice President of Health Services, Stacia Cohen.
