Protecting the Region’s Industry Assets - Cybersecurity
In this month's Greater Perspective, EAGB focuses on three of the Region's industry sectors that are increasingly dependent upon technological advances and the resulting need to address cybersecurity issues introduced by technology. Big data, the cloud, AI, AR, VR, and IoT are now part of the vocabulary when talking about advances in technology that increasingly influence the industry sectors driving economic growth throughout Greater Baltimore. The richness of the Region’s cybersecurity assets provides the talent and resources to assist these sectors in understanding and mitigating the cyber risks they face. Adopting these advances in technology introduces the need to protect the resulting processes – and data – that are now part of a business's “standard operating procedures.”

New EAGB Video Short: "Logistics Thrives in Greater Baltimore"
Joining two video shorts produced earlier this year promoting Cybersecurity and BioHealth (linked below), EAGB is proud to premier the new Logistics video short (i.e. a snackable video of 15 seconds or less) in this month's Region On Point. The Region's strategic location at the heart of the East Coast has already attracted dozens of major e-commerce and bulk goods distributors, and Logistics success requires a world-class workforce and continued investment. Our video shorts are the workhorses of an extensive national digitial marketing campaign designed to attract talent, investment and businesses to the Region.
