As National Manufacturing Day approaches on October 2, EAGB focuses this edition of Region on Point on two areas where Greater Baltimore’s manufacturing industry truly shines: the application of technology to manufacturing processes, and the growth of biopharmaceutical manufacturing as a component of the Region’s strong biohealth sector. Greater Baltimore's diverse array of "makers" and multi-national companies are working to address collective challenges so they can help their communities and future generations thrive. Especially during the pandemic, manufacturers from producers with a staff of less than five to multi-national companies with thousands of employees, the Region's companies are having an impact far beyond the definition of the industry.
