Baltimore Metropolitan Council Joins Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments In Cooperative Purchase Of N95 Masks
The Mid-Atlantic region’s largest purchase of N95 masks – over seven million – has been made possible by a bulk-purchasing partnership of the Baltimore Metropolitan Council and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG). N95 masks are recommended for use by medical and emergency professionals to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. The bulk purchase covers the requirements for 30 governmental entities across Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
