Baltimore County Startup raises $5M, plots move to Port Covington

Longeviti Neuro Solutions, a medical device startup that makes implants used in neurosurgery, has received $5M in funding to scale operations to meet demand. The company, which has ties to Johns Hopkins and experienced 70% annual growth during the pandemic, will move its headquarters to Port Covington’s City Garage in Baltimore City. The Baltimore Business Journalnotes that CEO Jesse Christopher calls Baltimore a "medical mega center, especially for neuro," referring the City's rich talent pool and its long history with neurosurgery.
