Baltimore Collegetown Network Brings More than 750 Students to Baltimore Colleges and Universities

After data indicated that the number of eligible college students in the U.S. would drop by 2026, the Baltimore Collegetown Network launched the “Collegetown and Gown Tour'' for high school counselors from across the US. Since the launch of the tour in 2017, those visits by counselors have encouraged over 770 students to enroll in the region’s institutions. The annual four-day program offers tours of participating public and private institutions, including Maryland Institute College of Art, Towson University, Stevenson University, Morgan State University, UMBC, University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland, Baltimore, Community College of Baltimore County, Goucher College, Johns Hopkins University, University of Notre Dame, Loyola University Maryland and The University of Baltimore. “Our mission has always been to market the Baltimore region as an attractive place for college,” said Kirsten Brinlee, Collegetown Executive Director. The EAGB couldn’t agree more!
