Baltimore-Based Startup Rose Health Raises $1.5M in Funding for Additional Investment Growth
Rose: Smarter Mental Health, a Baltimore-based mental health technology startup, has raised $1.5M in seed funding and is poised for additional investment growth. The new funding will be used to further develop their app to help monitor patients' mental health, aid in marketing, and add several new team members. With tech based on clinical trials and research by Johns Hopkins University, the subscription-based app is designed to serve the nearly 50 million Americans experiencing and managing mental illnesses. "We are essentially building a digital therapeutic that can help detect, diagnose and track people's mental wellbeing overtime, and show how patients are either progressing or regressing with their care plans," said CEO Kavi Misri, via Baltimore Business Journal.
