Anne Arundel Community College Celebrates Grand Opening of its new $117M Health and Life Sciences Building
Anne Arundel Community College celebrated the grand opening of its new $117M Health and Life Sciences Building on Oct 26. The 175,000 sf, three-story facility supports the College’s School of Health Sciences and its Department of Biology, with 20 health science labs, 18 biology labs, a greenhouse and more. Additionally, the building is on track to earn LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council, with electric vehicle charging stations, native landscaping, low flow plumbing and energy efficiency strategies.
