25 Maryland Companies Receive a Total of $1.6M in Grants for PPE Production

Twenty-five Greater Baltimore and Maryland companies have been awarded $1.6M in the second round of grants to expand and continue efforts in PPE production through the Maryland COVID-19 Emergency Relief Manufacturing Fund administered by the Maryland Department of Commerce - "We are pleased that this program not only helped to support the production of much needed PPE, but also provided companies with funding to keep their employees working during this challenging time," said Maryland Department of Commerce Secretary, Kelly M. Schulz. The program was created in response to a growing demand for items to protect health care and front line workers, with face shields, surgical masks, gloves and more. #regiononpoint #business #funding #PPE #manufacturing
