The Carroll County Regional Airport Runway Received $232K in Funding from the Federal Aviation Administration
The Carroll County Regional Airport runway received more than $232K in funding from the Federal Aviation Administration for maintenance and upkeep, part of a $15.9M grant to Maryland’s airports. With those funds, Carroll’s airport is lengthening a runway for aircraft with heavier loads to land safely in adverse conditions.The Daily Record reports that the relocation is part of an $80M expansion plan that is on track to begin construction in 2022.
